The professionalism
of a tailor
It is said that when you are passionate about your profession, it does not longer become a job but a way of life. I was born, I live and I will die being tailor.
When I close my eyes and I can still hear the old machine with pedals called “Singer” which my mother used to use at night when we lived in Prishtina, the city where I was born. I still remember how, with bright eyes, I was spellbound watching those fabrics while, at the same time, I was discovering the job for which I would be living for.
At the age of 14, I stopped watching and started acting. As an apprentice, I could understand what would be my passion for the rest of my life: to be a tailor-made for my clients.
As an adult, during my period in London, I had the chance to develop and improve my skills for more than 11 years. During this wonderful time, I consolidated myself as a professional tailor, learning both the Anglo-Saxon culture and its techniques.
During the last 15 years, I have developed my professional career in Barcelona, where I now live with my family and where my childhood aspiration of dressing my clients in my own atelier has become true. Because from now on, apart from living for my profession, I want to live for my clients. Because I’m a tailor. Because I understand my profession as an art. And because when things are made with passion, they can only come out perfectly.
